Software Developer (Expert Level)

Active TS/SCI clearance required.

We’re hiring a Senior Java Developer to extend and operate a commercial Identity and Access Management platform on a focused, small-team program. You’ll write Java against the platform’s APIs, build RESTful services around it, handle COTS integration and O&M, and own bug investigation and fixes end-to-end. Training on the specific IAM platform is provided, so we care more about strong Java fundamentals and the willingness to go deep on a vendor product than prior experience with this exact tool. CI/CD, scripted deployments to EC2, and disciplined DevOps practices are part of the daily routine.

Highlights

• BS degree and 16+ years of relevant experience
• 4+ years in Agile software development
• Strong Java; comfortable with Shell/Batch scripting
• RESTful API design and development
• AWS (especially deploying and configuring code on EC2)
• Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipeline experience
• Comfortable owning bugs from triage through fix in production systems

Bonus

• Prior experience with a commercial IAM platform
• SQL, Python, HTML, XML, LDAP search
• CloudFormation
• JavaScript and a UI framework (React or similar)
• Hibernate or other ORM frameworks
